Italian Duet — McDonald’s Advertising Food Photography

Advertising food photography for the Italian Duet campaign — a limited menu launch for McDonald’s Belarus developed with agency Ambition DDB. Two products, Italiano Beef and Italiano Chicken, shot as hero visuals for print, outdoor, and in-store POS materials.

Shooting for McDonald’s operates under precise global brand standards: specific lighting ratios, product build specifications, approved colour references, and multi-stage creative review. Every compositional decision — crop, angle, steam, shine — is made within a tightly defined framework designed to keep the imagery consistent with McDonald’s visual identity worldwide.

The practical challenge of QSR food photography at this level is speed and precision simultaneously: product has a narrow window on set, and there is no room for improvisation when the creative is already locked with the agency and client.
