Product and lifestyle still life photography for Joseph Joseph — a British kitchenware brand known for its design-led approach to everyday kitchen tools.
The series spans several product categories: knives, utensil sets,
storage containers, and on-the-go accessories. Each category
required a different visual approach — pure product shots
for catalogue use, grouped compositions that show the range
as a system, and in-context lifestyle frames that place the
objects inside a working kitchen environment. The challenge
across all of them was preserving the brand’s clean,
design-forward aesthetic without making the images feel sterile.
Joseph Joseph has a strong established visual identity, which
means the photography had to align with it precisely —
correct colour rendering of the brand’s signature palette,
consistent use of negative space, and compositions that
emphasise form over decoration. This is the kind of
commercial product photography where discipline in the details
is what makes the images usable.
